This Privacy Policy describes how Harmoni Finance, operated by Ikigai Solutions LLC (“we”, “us”, or “our”), collects, uses, and protects personal and financial information when you use our application.

Harmoni Finance only collects information that is necessary to provide personal finance functionality. Information is collected in the following ways:

• Account Information: When you connect a financial institution using Plaid, we may access account names, account types, and account identifiers.
• Financial Data: We may access account balances, transaction history, transaction descriptions, dates, and amounts.
• Metadata: Information related to financial accounts such as institution name and account status.

We do not collect online banking credentials, login passwords, or multi-factor authentication codes. All financial connections are handled securely through Plaid.

2. How We Use Information

The information collected is used solely to provide features within the Harmoni Finance application, including:

• Displaying account balances and transaction history
• Providing budgeting, reporting, and financial insights
• Improving application functionality and reliability

Harmoni Finance does not sell personal or financial data and does not use data for advertising or marketing purposes.

3. Plaid Integration

Harmoni Finance uses Plaid Inc. (“Plaid”) to connect to financial institutions. Plaid provides secure APIs that allow users to authorize access to their financial data without sharing login credentials with Harmoni Finance.

Plaid’s use of information is governed by Plaid’s own privacy policy. Harmoni Finance only receives the data that users explicitly authorize via Plaid.

4. Data Storage and Security

We take reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect personal and financial information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or disclosure.

Access to user data is restricted to authorized systems and is used only to operate the Harmoni Finance application. Sensitive data is transmitted using industry-standard encryption.

5. Data Retention

Harmoni Finance retains user data only for as long as necessary to provide application functionality or as required by applicable law. Users may request deletion of their data at any time.

6. User Rights and Controls

Users have the right to:

• Revoke access to financial institutions at any time through the application
• Request access to or deletion of their personal data
• Disconnect financial accounts previously linked via Plaid

7. Third-Party Sharing

Harmoni Finance does not share personal or financial information with third parties except as necessary to provide the service (such as Plaid) or as required by law.

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date.
